These books will help your students to practice percent equations and finding percent of a number. Within the story are situations in which the reader must write and solve equations involving percents. All work is done within the book.

Students make choices and head to the page that they are directed to. Students will have different results depending on their choice as the story continues. Your class will enjoy this format and get in a few great opportunities to practice writing and solving percent equations.

The books are wonderful for a substitute teacher day. The books are self-guided and can be done independently. The book is partially self-correcting, so teacher correcting and grading is very minimal. If students make choices that are not ideal, they are given an explanation to help them.
